the beginning of
September and school has just started
here in Calgary. the sultry, dog days of Summer will
soon give way to the splendour of Autumn. the shadows once again grow
longer as the days grow shorter. it must therefore be time for the first snowfall of summer . . .
Calgarians are used to weird weather like chinooks, rain shine and massive temperature swings.
so what’s a little snow in September among friends?
it just means that the ski and ice
climbing season
will start
soon.
