“I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!”
~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

and the warmth & companionship of a crackling fire shared with the ones you love.

before Christmas
and all through the house . . .
not a creature was stirring

in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
when out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
Jake tilted his head to hear what was the matter . . .
and then, in a twinkling, Jake heard on the roof
the prancing and pawing of each little hoof.
“Is that you Santa Paws?”
Happy Christmas to All, and to All a Good Night!
