a Lesson I Learned from my Dog

our dogs can teach us a great many things, if we choose to listen to them…

one of the things that I have learned from my dog is to take the time to sit and relax.  more often than not I putter around in the kitchen near the end of the day, preparing food, doing dishes and tidying up.  while I do this Jake comes over to where I am and gives me his “will you just sit down” look.  once I notice his look I try to finish up because he won’t relax until I do.

Jake reminds me that “some things can wait until tomorrow.”
