the weather could not have been better with temperatures soaring to at least 31 degrees Celsius
there was a candy land bouncer and face painting for the kids
and live music was provided by Identity Crisis
(it comes with a very kool “switchblade” key-fob, thanks Carlos!)
but what would an adopt-a-thon be without loads of adorable, single dogs to caress . . .
who’s a happy dog?
is that a spolumbo’s sausage?
what cool tiger stripe markings
ohh, pick me! pick me!
canine kisses in 3, 2, 1 . . .
that sure is a looooong way down
we’re on a mission from Dog
loved this puppy’s smile
and this pup’s soft fur . . .
this girl had such calm, soulful eyes and floppy ears . . .
this young fella loved the attention . . .
the guy carrying the M&M meat shops box departure was not missed by this keen nose . . .
by the end of the day some of the dogs had a hard time keeping their eyes open after all the excitement . . .
i don’t want this to ever end . . . don’t ever let me go
there was a steady stream of folks throughout the day and everyone enjoyed themselves . . .
as i’m sure all the puppies did!
